Bakunawa is what we call our trophy at the Bakunawa Festival. The Bakunawa is a dragon-like creature based on a popular Philippine mythology that devoured moons. Because we are a genre-bending film fest, we want to flip the Bakunawa's role and we want it to instead symbolize the creative monsters inside us.

Every year, our DIY trophy is designed by different artists with a selected toy template. Our trophies are unique artworks that are exclusive for each award - no trophy is alike.
