Jael Mathea Tipon is a student filmmaker and a theater personality from Bacolod City, Negros Occidental. She is a Bakunawa Young Cinema alumna who was hailed as one of Best Filmmakers of Bakunawa 6 and Best Production Design for "Pula," and won the Emerging Negrense Filmmaker and Jury's Choice Awards in the Sine Negrense 2021 for "Sa Dulonan sang Kinawala." Her other film credits include "Lang-at," "Sa Punta sang Balangaw," and "Kon Ngaa Koton Kendi ang mga Panganod."
