Cliché
Niamh Collins is a 17 year old filmmaker. Cliché, made with the support of the members of Emerging Limerick Filmmakers, is her first film which she successfully pitched and directed when aged 16.
With Cliché, Niamh explores meta-narrative in a time of cheap advice. She's not interested in easy answers, and this film reflects that philosophy. Niamh was influenced by Swedish filmmaker Roy Anderson, but has directed a film that is undeniably in her own unique style.
