Hanns Scheewe was born in Surigao del Sur, Philippines. He and his family moved to Cambodia for eight years, before returning to the Philippines. He is currently a film student at the University of the Philippines Diliman under the College of Mass Communication, and enjoys making films in different mediums. Over the recent years, he has picked up visual effects and animation as a means of still being able to make films despite pandemic isolation, including A Year To Breathe, I am a Box, A Love Letter from Space, and Tindig sa Pag-Ibig.
