Born on January 20, 1993 in São Paulo (Brazil), Davi Mello is a filmmaker, professor and researcher in Cinema and Audiovisual. He is a PhD candidate in Education, Art and Cultural History and has a Master in Communication Studies. As a director and screenwriter, he has award-winning short films, which were screened in more than 120 film festivals, including selections at Rio Film Festival, Sao Paulo International Short Film Festival, Bogoshorts (Colombia), Fest New Directors | New Films (Portugal), Fantaspoa, among others.
Deborah Perrotta is a brazilian image maker, graduated in Cinema in São Paulo. She participated as costume designer and art assistant in some cinematographic productions awarded in international film festivals. The short film A Bolsa (2016) was her first experience as a director and screenwriter. The film was presented at several festivals such as Chicago Latino Film Festival, Curta Cinema, CineOp, Curta-SE and Tudo sobre Mulheres - where it was awarded as best universitary short film. She also develops projects in experimental photography, among which the most recent, La virtù di non essere più, was shown at the PHOS art gallery in Turin, in which she was awarded with the audience prize.
